For use in a variety of environments, the Dragino LTC2 Industrial LoRaWAN Temperature Transmitter is intended to monitor temperature. It can read PT100 probe data, translate it to temperature, and then use the LoRaWAN protocol to uplink the data to an IoT server.
LTC2 has datalog functionality. Using a LoRaWAN downlink command, the user can obtain the sensor value.
For extended time measurement, an 8500mA Li-SOCI2 battery powers the LTC2. Depending on the operating mode and network environment, the battery has a 2–10 year lifespan.
Every LTC2 is equipped with a pair of internal 16-bit ADC interfaces, calibrated using 12-set resistors to provide accurate measurements throughout a broad range.
LoRaWAN v1.0.3 is compatible with LTC2. Pre-loaded with a set of distinct keys for LoRaWAN registration, each LTC2 will automatically establish a connection at power-up by registering these keys with the local LoRaWAN server.
