The Relay Shield is a device that provides four high-quality relays, which can be used to control high-current loads connected to Arduino or Seeeduino boards. The shield also features NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) interfaces, making it an ideal solution for controlling devices that cannot be directly managed by Arduino’s Digital I/Os. Thanks to its standardized shield form factor, it can be easily connected to Arduino and compatible boards. The shield has four LED indicators that indicate the on/off state of each relay. Relays are highly useful in controlling the functioning of AC appliances like fans, lights, and motors, or high-current DC actuators like solenoid valves.
Note: Exercise caution when dealing with AC.
