The GY-302 Digital Light Intensity Sensor Module is based on the BH1750 light sensor. The BH1750 is a digital Ambient Light Sensor integrated circuit (IC) that features an I2C bus interface. This module provides a straightforward digital output via I2C, eliminating the need for external components such as analogue-to-digital converters.

It accurately detects digital light intensity and produces direct digital output, bypassing complex calculations and calibration processes. The sensor does not differentiate between various ambient light sources, and its spectral characteristics are close to human visual sensitivity. It offers a wide range of high-precision lux measurements for brightness.
