DFRduino Ethernet Shield is an easy way to connect your Arduino board to the Internet. Just attach the shield to your board, upload Ethernet sample codes, and you’re good to go. The WizNet Ethernet chip integrates full hardwired TCP/IP protocol stacks and has four independent hardware SOCKETs. Your board can communicate with WizNet and an SD card through the SPI interface. DFRduino Ethernet Shield supports both Arduino UNO and Mega series. Its current hardware version, V3.0, has an upgraded chip that has lower power consumption, lower heat, and higher performance.
