The Speech Synthesis Shield is designed to be compatible with any standard Arduino board. It uses a speech synthesis chip from IFLYTEK, which is a world-leading technology with a high degree of integration. This shield supports Chinese synthesis, English synthesis, and even Chinese and English mixed reading. Additionally, it can synthesize up to 4K bytes of text at a time.

Three interfaces are available for use with this module: UART, I2C and SPI.
