Note: Please note that the battery being discussed here is not an AA-type battery. Specifically, it is a rechargeable Li-ion battery with a nominal voltage of 3.7V and its size is compatible with a battery holder. However, it is important to NOT use this battery as a replacement for an AA-type battery.

This cylindrical Lithium Ion battery has a capacity of 14500 and is rechargeable. It’s popular as an energy storage device in torch lights and serves as a power source when discharged.

This rechargeable single-cell battery is ideal for electronic or robotic projects, IoT devices, and energy storage. It has a high voltage and capacity and can be connected in series for even higher voltages. The battery holder is the same size as a regular AA battery.

Please do charge it with the proper charger (with balancer if series more than 1 cell). Li-ion battery should be charged and discharged properly to prevent a short lifespan and downgrade of its capacity.
