The LM35DZ device requires no external calibration or trimming to provide typical accuracies of 14°C at room temperature and 34°C throughout the whole 0°C to 100°C temperature range. Trimming and calibration at the wafer level ensure lower costs. The LM35 device’s low output impedance, linear output, and perfect intrinsic calibration make connecting to readout or control circuitry a breeze. The gadget works with either a single power supply or plus and minus supplies. Because the LM35 gadget only uses 60 A from the power source, it has a very low self-heating temperature of less than 0.1°C in still air.
