This miniature DC brush motor, commonly found in toy cars, does not have a gearhead. To make it rotate, simply apply a voltage between 3V and 6V to its terminals. Reversing the polarity of the terminals will cause the motor to rotate in the opposite direction.
The motor comes with two wire leads, making it easy to connect directly to a breadboard. This feature is particularly convenient for teachers introducing basic DC motor control in the classroom.
